All things Montana
I was born and raised in Southern California. That means I was raised in the deep South (of the Wild West, so to speak). I am the youngest of a mixed brood of kids who's function in life was to be outside either at the beaches of Long Beach, or Cherry Park. My love for the ocean and nature was developed at a very young age while "rock hopping" down at the rocks. My oldest sister would take me on a search for star fish, sea urchins and hermit crabs. Life was to be explored not watched from the side.
When I was 15 my parents moved to Telluride Colorado for a year, where I found out about the woods, wildlife and snow. That's when I figured out my partents had raised me in the wrong area and time. (I decided I should have been born during the times of the old west and all that Cowboys and Indians had to offer). Somewhere around the age of 16, I figured out there was a lot to life and I needed to get busy find out about it.
Several years later, I joined the US Navy, and landed on Concord California. I was surrounded by rolling hills and cows. I found home (where the cows roam).
As years pass and a lot of changes in life, I found the love of Rodeo, where I've both competed and helped produce amateur rodeos. This is where some of my photography comes in today. Besides rodeo, I love to travel and see all that I can through the lens of my camera.
